FAQ

What makes your protein gut-friendly?

TumLove protein contains only a few simple ingredients. We avoid typical dietary irritants such as gluten, dairy, soy, and sugar alcohols. Our products are also Monash Certified Low-Fodmap. Fodmaps are the ingredients that can aggravate sensitive guts.

What are fodmaps?

FODMAPs (also known as Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides, and Polyols) are short-chain carbohydrates that are poorly absorbed in the small intestine and are prone to absorb water and ferment in the colon. These compounds likely contribute to gastrointestinal disorders like IBS, Crohn’s disease, Colitis, and more.

How does your protein taste?

Like sunshine in a glass, of course! J/K but not really. TumLove protein is designed for flavor first! We make sure that every sip is not only delicious but also good for your gut!

How do you choose your ingredients?

TumLove goes to incredible lengths to secure the highest quality ingredients from reputable suppliers at every level of the supply chain. If you’ve got a specific question about an ingredient or sourcing, drop us a line at support@tumlove.com. We’d love to chat with you!

What is the texture of your protein powder?

Unlike other chalky and unpleasant vegan protein powders on the market, we at TumLove strive to create a smooth texture to our protein so you can enjoy every sip.

What is Leaky Gut?

Also known as Leaky Gut Syndrome, a leaky gut means that your gut lining is damaged and cannot optimally function as a barrier. There are many symptoms of leaky gut and a low-fodmap diet may help improve symptoms. Talk to your physician for a formal medical diagnosis and dietary recommendations that may help treat this condition. TumLove products are not intended to treat, diagnose or cure IBS, IBD or any other medical issues. Consult your physician if you have questions about consuming any TumLove products.

What is SIBO

SIBO stands for Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth and it may occur when there is an abnormal increase in the overall bacterials population of the small intestine. This especially applies to types of bacteria not commonly found in that part of the digestive tract. TumLove products are not intended to treat, diagnose or cure IBS, IBD or any other medical issues. Consult your physician if you have questions about consuming any TumLove products.
